Making sure everyone is neat and pretty and ready for the show is no easy task. Every day Costuming and Cosmetology Cast Members at the Disneyland® Resort prepare Entertainment, Theme Park and Resort costumed Cast Members for their role in the show.

Costuming Hosts and Hostesses are responsible for issuing costumes at wardrobe facilities, checking garments to maintain show quality, transporting locker bags, loading and unloading costumes and some light laundry. Costuming Cast Members may also have the opportunity to assist performers in our shows and parades.

The starting rate for a Costuming Host or Hostess is $9.05/hour.

Cosmetology Cast Members are responsible for maintaining wigs, applying facial theatrical makeup and teaching entertainers proper makeup application. Cast Members in this area may also work outdoors in various weather conditions and may have the opportunity to assist in film shoots, parades and convention shows. To work in Cosmetology prior experience and/or licensing may be required.
