Protecting our Guests and Cast Members is the goal of Disneyland® Security team. Cast Members may work in various locations throughout our Theme Park and Hotel areas, both on-stage and backstage, maintaining a safe and secure environment that enables our Guests and Cast to experience the magic of Disney.

Security positions include Land Officer, Gate, Hotel/DTD and Motor/Parking Lot. In all of these roles, responsibilities include deterring undesirable behaviors, writing and inputting reports, conducting visual inspections of bags or packages, directing traffic, responding to radio calls as needed, calling in safety concerns, completing visual inspections and observing occurrences of areas being patrolled.

Security Cast Members may also be trained in Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) procedures to respond to Guest and Cast emergencies as needed.

The starting rate for a Security Cast Member is $10.75/hour. Third-Shift Security Cast Members may receive an additional premium.
